Sea Thru Limited, formerly known as Boat Windscreens, is a leading brand in the marine industry. Established in 1989 by Brian Casey, Sea Thru was born out of the need for high-quality boat windscreens that were difficult to source from traditional suppliers. Casey, who had previously worked at Reflex Products Ltd, made it his mission to produce his own range of screens.

What started as a part-time venture working from a domestic garage soon gained traction, with McLay Boats becoming a key customer after noticing Sea Thru's products at the 1988 New Zealand boat show. Since then, Sea Thru Ltd has come a long way. It was officially incorporated in 1999 and has undergone six relocations, ultimately leading to the opening of a purpose-built factory in 2006.

Today, Sea Thru is a market leader, supplying a significant portion of the New Zealand trailer boat market.
