Seatrec is a pioneering brand that specializes in designing and manufacturing energy harvesting solutions. Their groundbreaking technology allows them to generate electricity from the natural temperature variations in ocean waters. With a sustainable approach, Seatrec offers innovative products and services that cater to various industries and research fields.

Seatrec's flagship product is the infiniTE™ Float, an advanced profiling float that stands out for its built-in energy harvesting system powered by ocean temperatures. This state-of-the-art device takes oceanic data collection to new heights, offering unmatched flexibility with up to three profiles per day. Whether scientists are studying bathymetry, tracking ocean soundscapes, or predicting hurricane intensification, the infiniTE™ Float delivers optimal performance and customizability.

By incorporating specific sensors tailored to individual needs, Seatrec ensures a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution. Beyond research, Seatrec's energy harvesting modules find applications in oceanic robotics, ocean energy stations, and polar environmental research. Their technology not only extends the operational life of equipment but also optimizes data capture, all while reducing battery littering in the ocean and fostering sustainable practices.

At Seatrec, the relentless pursuit of understanding and preserving the ocean drives their mission. Inspired by the vision of oceanographic pioneer Henry Stommel, Seatrec aims to provide subsurface ocean data on a scale and frequency comparable to satellite technology for the Earth's surfaces. With a commitment to innovation and collaboration, Seatrec continues to shape the future of environmentally conscious solutions.
