Seavey Vineyard is a historic brand that has been crafting exceptional wines in Napa Valley since the 1870s. Back then, their vineyard was known as the Franco-Swiss Farming Company and was renowned for producing a Claret of high repute. However, the company faced challenges from phylloxera infestation and Prohibition, which led to its dissolution.

After several decades of being used for cattle farming and grain cultivation, Bill and Mary Seavey acquired the land in 1979 and decided to revive the vineyard. Today, Seavey Vineyard covers 40 acres of steep hillsides in the Conn Valley near Lake Hennessey. With a commitment to maintaining high standards, Seavey produces approximately 3,000 cases of their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as small quantities of Merlot and Chardonnay.

Their vineyard team, led by renowned winemakers Jim Duane and Philippe Melka, carefully cultivates the grapes to produce small, thick-skinned berries with outstanding tannins. This allows them to create masterful, soulful wines that truly reflect the unique terroir of the Napa Valley. In addition to their exceptional wines, Seavey Vineyard also offers access to a rare and extensive wine library dating back to 1990, as well as wine club memberships for enthusiasts who want to explore their exclusive vintages.
