SextaNet is the brand that encompasses the Sixth German Fire Company of Puerto Varas, also known as the Sexta Compañía de Bomberos Puerto Varas. Founded on February 18, 1981, by prominent German descendants in the community, their mission is to protect the residents of Puerto Chico from the dangers of fires and other emergencies. As part of the Fire Department of Puerto Varas, SextaNet is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to efficiently extinguish fires and provide technical rescue services.

With a rich historical background, SextaNet maintains German traditions in their work, including using German-origin equipment, firefighting vehicles, and uniforms.
