About Emily Kate
Second Story Window is a brand that encompasses both a shop and a blog. Founded by sisters Heidi and Emily, this brand is fueled by their shared passion for educating young children. Originally, they dreamed of owning a preschool together, where they would teach classes on different floors and switch halfway through to collaborate.
While distance kept them apart for many years, they found a way to bring their teaching expertise together through this blog, sharing their favorite ideas with others. Now, living just three minutes away from each other, they have finally realized their dream and have their own preschool. Heidi, the big sister, holds a master's degree in education with a math endorsement, while Emily, the little sister, has a degree in Early Childhood Education.
