Secret Gardens

Secret Gardens is an owner-led landscape design and maintenance company founded by Philip D’Amico in 1993. Serving Highland Park, McKinney, Frisco, Richardson, and communities across North Texas, the company creates residential outdoor spaces designed to be both beautiful and suited to local conditions. Each project begins with a personal consultation, with Philip involved in the design and rendering presentation. Plans account for North Texas clay soil, drainage, and microclimates, and clients can view and select plants in person at Plants & Planters, D’Amico’s Richardson garden center.

Secret Gardens provides landscape design and installation, including plantings, patios, pathways, driveways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, lighting, pergolas, fire pits, irrigation, and drainage solutions. It also designs and installs ponds, fountains, and waterfalls. Ongoing care includes quarterly maintenance, seasonal planting, sod installation, bed maintenance, spring and fall cleanups, leaf removal, and freeze protection. The company emphasizes personalized service and stands behind its work with a limited plant replacement guarantee for qualifying trees and shrubs.
