Segelfreunde Rheinland

Segelfreunde Rheinland e. V. is a sailing club for enthusiasts across the Rhein-Sieg district, Bonn, Cologne and nearby areas.

It brings together people who are learning to sail, already active on the water, or simply looking to share their interest with a friendly, informal community. Members can take part in sailing education and practical activities, including dinghy training, sailing taster days in Roermond, and trips on flat-bottomed boats and larger yachts. The club also offers training for boating licences and sailing qualifications, including inland and coastal certificates, advanced sailing courses, and radio certificates for inland and sea use.

Its activities cater to a range of interests, from practising manoeuvres and enjoying the sport of dinghy sailing to relaxed holiday cruises with family or friends and regatta experience. Beyond sailing, the club organises social events and gatherings. Members and prospective sailors meet on the last Tuesday of each month in Siegburg for an informal evening to make plans, arrange outings and share sailing stories
