Segelgruppe an der Fachhochschule Kiel e.V. is a sailing club based in Kiel, welcoming people of all experience levels and backgrounds. Students at Kiel University and the University of Applied Sciences, apprentices, working professionals, beginners, and experienced sailors are all invited to take part. The club maintains a fleet of three keelboats and two dinghies, currently moored near the Fachhochschule in Dietrichsdorf and at Sporthafen Düsternbrook.

Prospective members can join an informal trial sail without prior experience or sailing certificates. Members may use the boats once they hold the club’s internal authorization for the relevant vessel; for the larger yachts, an SKS certificate or equivalent is recommended. The group offers regular Tuesday sailing sessions, while members can also arrange outings at other times. Activities range from after-work sailing and swimming in Heikendorf Bay to weekend cruises in the Danish South Sea, dinghy sailing on Kiel Fjord, and participation in the 24-hour sailing regatta. The club also provides information about membership, fees, applications, events, and boat access.
