Southeastern Indiana REMC

Southeastern Indiana Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) is a local distribution cooperative that provides electric and fiber optic services to its members and communities. Our mission is to safely provide reliable electricity and diversified services. As a member of our cooperative, you not only receive our excellent services but also become an owner and have a say in the decision-making process.

At Southeastern Indiana REMC, you have the opportunity to participate in our Annual Meeting and elect representatives to serve on our board of directors. Your voice matters as we value democratic member control. You can also influence policy issues that our electric cooperative supports or opposes.

Being a cooperative means we are wholly owned by our members, and each member's opinion carries equal weight. Our board of directors, who are elected by the members, ensure that the cooperative operates in the best interest of the entire membership. We are guided by the seven cooperative principles, including voluntary and open membership, democratic decision-making, and concern for the community.

Join us at Southeastern Indiana REMC and experience the benefits of being part of a cooperative that puts its members first
