SEITENWECHSEL Bestattung

SEITENWECHSEL is an independent funeral service led by Franziska Hilmer, offering attentive, alternative funeral arrangements and personal support before, during and after a death. The service is shaped around each person and family, with an emphasis on dignity, compassion and allowing time to say goodbye at an individual pace. Hilmer explains the options available when a death is expected or has occurred, including arrangements for viewing and spending time with the deceased at home or another chosen place for up to three days.

SEITENWECHSEL also advises on funeral planning, formal procedures and costs, and helps families bring their wishes to life by coordinating other contributors, such as florists and musicians. The service includes emotional and spiritual accompaniment, practical guidance and, where requested, support with personal touches such as preparing the deceased and arranging the farewell space. Drawing on an open understanding of death as a transition, Hilmer welcomes different beliefs and perspectives
