Sejlcenter Nivå is a sailing club based at Nivå Harbour, founded by active sailors committed to developing sailing, training and a welcoming maritime community. The club is a member of the Danish Sailing Association and participates in Denmark’s Sailing League, offering activities for both experienced sailors and newcomers.
Its programmes include practical sailing lessons in the club’s school boats and winter theory classes that prepare students for the Danish proficiency certificate. Members can join daytime cruising with Blue Sailors, Wednesday racing with neighbouring clubs, youth racing and team sailing in the club’s sports boats. The club also hosts the Nivå Summer Cup and winter sailing events, including the Nivå Winter Cup, and provides members with opportunities to sail J/80 boats.
Beyond time on the water, Sejlcenter Nivå arranges winter club evenings with talks and sailing stories, along with social events throughout the year. It also works to support the continued development of Nivå Harbour for sailors and boat owners. Membership is available for seniors and juniors.
