Sejlerhjerte

Sejlerhjerte is a sailing school based in Bogø, Denmark, offering courses for beginners and experienced sailors. The school is designed primarily for women, with a female instructor and women’s classes intended to create a supportive, welcoming environment where students can learn through practice, make mistakes, and build confidence. Sejlerhjerte’s aim is to help more women take an active role in sailing and develop the skills to sail safely and independently. Men and students of all genders are also welcome on the school’s mixed courses.

Courses cover practical sailing in a sailboat, theory for the Danish sailing proficiency certificate (duelighedsbevis), theory revision, and the Yachtskipper Y3 qualification. Students can also develop practical skills through training in night sailing, harbour manoeuvres, and becoming more confident on the water. Options include introductory courses, private classes, and mixed groups, serving both newcomers and sailors looking to extend their experience. Sejlerhjerte presents sailing as a source of freedom, independence, and adventure, and combines theoretical instruction with hands-on learning.
