Sejong

Sejong Taekwondo is a Prague-based WT taekwondo club founded in 1995 and among the city’s longest-established clubs. Its experienced coaching team includes national-team members and multiple national champions, led by head coach Ondřej Havlíček. The club welcomes children and adults, offering training that develops physical skills alongside self-confidence, self-control, discipline and teamwork. Its approach combines the traditions of Korean martial art with the development of modern sport and personal character.

Members take part in domestic and international competitions, with athletes representing the Czech Republic at European and World Championships. The club has earned notable results in poomsae and sparring, including Czech championship titles and medals at major international events. Its achievements have been recognised by organisations including Kukkiwon, the Korea Taekwondo Association and the World Taekwondo Federation.

Beyond regular training, Sejong Taekwondo has a history of international seminars, training camps and demonstration activities through its Moohwa team. The club promotes sport as a constructive use of free time and a path to self-improvement, supported by a welcoming community and coaches who work with participants across generations and experience levels.
