SEKGA

The Southeast Kiko Goat Association (SEKGA) is a community for current and aspiring Kiko goat breeders, buyers, and supporters. It promotes the breed through education, breeder connections, youth programs, and opportunities to participate in sales. Membership is open to anyone interested in Kiko goats, including regular, associate, and honorary members, and connects participants with resources, events, and sales opportunities.

SEKGA hosts annual Kiko goat sales featuring animals from breeders across the Southeast, with sale information and catalogs available through its website. The events also offer husbandry seminars, youth activities, and opportunities to meet fellow breeders. The association provides educational information about the Kiko breed, including its hardiness, adaptability, growth, and suitability for meat production.

SEKGA also supports emerging agricultural leaders through the SEKGA-Maxwell Agri-Livestock Scholarship, which awards up to $2,000 annually to eligible children and grandchildren of members. Its website shares membership details, association bylaws, leadership information, news, and updates about upcoming sales, including the 2027 Spring Sale.
