Gerakan Sekolah Menyenangkan (GSM) is a grassroots movement dedicated to transforming education in Indonesia. The aim of GSM is to create a school ecosystem and culture that is enjoyable, collaborative, inclusive, and equitable, enabling students to discover their potential in the face of a rapidly changing and uncertain world. The movement promotes and raises awareness among teachers, school principals, parents, and education policy makers about the importance of building a fun and community-based approach to education.

GSM offers a wide range of activities and programs to achieve its goals. These include School Future Journey, a program that encourages philosophical thinking about the fundamental philosophy of education; Virtual Coffee, an informal dialogue with representatives from each GSM community to discuss educational transformation; and Community Visits, which foster exchange and collaboration among GSM communities to ensure equal quality education for all. Additionally, GSM organizes workshops and festivals, provides mentoring and support to communities, and hosts symposiums and expos to showcase best practices in education.
