Selina Rose is the studio of award-winning British textile designer and artist Selina Rose, who has created wool felt surfaces for residential and commercial interiors for 20 years. The practice combines pattern, colour and natural materials to make distinctive architectural features that invite touch, play with light and shade, and bring a sense of movement to interior spaces.
The collection includes acoustic panels, screens, room dividers, rugs and felt homewares. Selina also works with interior designers, architects and private clients on bespoke, site-specific designs. Her work has been commissioned by clients including the BBC, Coca-Cola, Heals and Arup.
The studio uses 100% merino wool felt, available in 75 colours and three thicknesses, alongside organic cotton thread in production. Its design approach prioritises natural fibres, considered material choices and pieces made for durability, longevity and circularity. Wool is renewable, biodegradable, insulating, moisture repellent and naturally flame retardant, making it a practical material for interiors as well as a central part of the studio’s environmentally conscious practice.
