About Solar Electric Manufacturers Association Nepal | Kathmandu
Solar Electric Manufacturers Association Nepal (SEMAN) is a non-governmental, non-profit business association representing all Solar PV Electric Industries in Nepal. Established in 2000, SEMAN is registered in District Administration Office, Kathmandu. As an association of solar electric manufacturing and trading companies, SEMAN is capable of executing PV-related works.
SEMAN has a track record of organizing various training programs, including Solar Electric Technicians Level - I and Level - II, as well as orientation training for school teachers and company staff. With a focus on promoting solar energy, SEMAN has conducted research studies on the status of the solar energy sector in 2002, 2004, and 2006. They have also launched the European Solar Initiative to further develop solar in Austria.
