SEMEGA (Serveis de Millora i Expansió Ramadera i Genètica Aplicada) is a public business entity of the Diputació de Girona, established in 1970 to support livestock farming in Girona’s counties. It works to strengthen the sector through technical advice, technological development, training and the dissemination of knowledge. Based at the Camps i Armet estate in Monells, SEMEGA operates an experimental and practical training unit and provides services focused on livestock improvement.
