SEM Premier Doulas

SEM Premier Doulas is a team of experienced perinatal professionals supporting new and expecting families across Southeast Michigan. The organization provides personalized, hands-on care through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, helping parents build confidence, discover their own approach to family life, and connect with lasting support. Its services include birth doula care, postpartum support, community meetings, meal preparation, and placenta encapsulation. Families can also meet the doulas and learn about available services through community gatherings, before or after their baby arrives.

Postpartum care may include practical help with newborn care, feeding, soothing, household tasks, and meals, alongside emotional support, guidance, and access to local resources. The team’s support extends from pregnancy through a baby’s first birthday and beyond, with an emphasis on helping families feel less overwhelmed and more prepared. SEM Premier Doulas also fosters connections among local families and shares information about community resources, helping parents build a supportive network beyond their direct doula care.
