About Senior Dog Veterinary Society
The Senior Dog Veterinary Society is dedicated to enhancing the care and experience of senior canine patients through collaboration and innovation among veterinary professionals. Founded by veterinarians Lauren Adelman, Monica Tarantino, and Lisa Lippman, the organization emerged from a shared passion for improving the lives of older dogs and their dedicated caregivers.
The Society provides valuable resources, including position statements and a certified vet directory, aimed at fostering best practices in senior and geriatric canine care. They offer a Learning Center where veterinarians and vet techs can access educational materials, helping them to stay informed about the latest advancements in this specialized field.
By creating a network of likeminded professionals, the Senior Dog Veterinary Society aspires to set new standards for the treatment of aging dogs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care. Their commitment to sharing research and strategies empowers vets to provide exceptional services, making a positive impact on the lives of beloved senior pets.
