Alltagsbegleiter & Seniorenassistent is a family-run senior support service led by Barbara and Uwe Begemann in Eckernförde, serving people and families in the wider areas of Schleswig and Kappeln. The two trained care professionals focus on helping older adults manage everyday life at home, offering personal support shaped around each client’s wishes and circumstances. Their services include companionship, assistance and advice, help with organization, support for family caregivers, and planning enjoyable leisure activities.

The aim is to bring more variety and connection to daily routines while helping clients pursue activities and wishes that matter to them. Barbara’s background includes ambulatory care, and she is also a systemic coach and psychological counselor. Uwe completed training as a care assistant under German social care provisions and gained experience supporting people with dementia.

The Begemanns offer a free initial meeting to discuss needs, answer questions, and develop an individual plan. They are recognized by the local Social Services Office and long-term care insurance funds; eligible services may be billed directly to insurers, including through respite care arrangements
