Seniorenberatung Online is an award-winning, independent, volunteer-run advisory service supporting older people experiencing memory concerns, those interested in dementia prevention, people living with dementia, and their families. Based in Unterschleißheim, it serves nearby communities, the northern Munich district, and surrounding areas. Its aim is to provide clear, impartial, and professionally grounded guidance, from early questions about forgetfulness to support with established dementia.

The service offers free consultations by telephone, email, WhatsApp, video, and in person by appointment. Guidance covers recognising possible early signs, understanding dementia prevention, responding to everyday care needs, and finding local support. Families can also receive ongoing accompaniment and practical suggestions for reducing caregiver strain.

Its online information platform features checklists, planning tools, prevention resources, and advice tailored to different stages of dementia. Additional offerings include an online course, a discussion forum, and an anonymous email memory consultation. The service is led by Peter Wagner, a graduate psychologist and former dementia officer for the City of Unterschleißheim, and operates without commercial, political, or denominational interests.
