Senior Garden

SENIOR GARDEN n. o. is a nonprofit organization established in 2010 that has operated a residential care home for older adults in Horná Seč, in Slovakia’s Levice district, since April 2012.

Founded by the municipality of Horná Seč and the Brethren Church congregation in Levice, it provides accommodation and round-the-clock care in a peaceful, rural setting. The home has capacity for 28 residents, with 14 double rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Shared facilities include a dining room, food-serving area, and communal room, while a garden, walking paths, and benches offer space to relax outdoors.

Its services are designed to address residents’ basic, emotional, and spiritual needs through professional, safe, and respectful support. SENIOR GARDEN emphasizes personal attention, resident choice, independence, and meaningful participation in community, social, and spiritual life. The organization also encourages mutual assistance and welcomes local involvement through employment and volunteering.
