– Sensory Hugs

Sensory Hugs is a compassionate brand dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with sensory sensitivities and anxiety. Founded from personal experience, Sensory Hugs emerged as a response to the challenges faced by those on the autism spectrum. The founder's journey began when her son was diagnosed with autism following a debilitating episode that altered his communication and comfort with physical contact. Recognizing a gap in effective resources, she launched Sensory Hugs in 2016 to provide specially designed products that foster reassurance and calm.

The brand offers a curated selection of educational and therapeutic items, including weighted blankets, sensory bed sheets, and comforting soft toys. Each product aims to alleviate stress in various settings, from challenging supermarket trips to bedtime anxiety. With an ongoing commitment to expand their offerings based on user feedback, Sensory Hugs also involves its own product tester—her son—to ensure practicality and effectiveness. Sensory Hugs is where understanding meets innovation, helping families navigate sensory challenges with ease.
