Sensory Space Designs is a sensory room design and consultation service based in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York. Founded by Corinne Grossman, OTR/L, the brand helps families create inclusive, supportive spaces for children with varied sensory abilities. Its work is informed by occupational therapy and focuses on how children take in and respond to information from their surroundings.
Sensory Space Designs assesses a child’s sensory needs and customizes areas within the home to support self-regulation, focus, comfort, and connection. The service is intended for families whose children may experience challenges such as sensory processing differences, attention disorders, autism, sleep difficulties, feeding difficulties, or behavioral challenges. Designs may provide a calming retreat for an overstimulated child or an engaging outlet for a child who needs more sensory input.
The company uses trusted products and thoughtful home modifications to address physical, psychological, emotional, and sensory needs. It offers consultation services and sensory packages, with appointments arranged to accommodate families’ schedules.
