About SEP Kenya
Siaya Education Project (SEP) is a team of change-makers dedicated to creating a better future through education. Inspired by Nelson Mandela's belief that "Education is the most powerful weapon," Dr. Phoebe Oyugi, an international law jurist, founded SEP with a mission to bridge the economic gap in Kenya.
Through mobilizing resources and support from personal and professional networks, SEP provides academic development, skills and talent development, entrepreneurship programs, and community service initiatives. The team, led by Dr. Oyugi and supported by experts like Mr.
Onono Cleophas and Mr. Ronald Ouma, focuses on cross-cutting issues such as Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights, emotional support programs, and environmental management. SEP's core values encompass the belief that every helping hand can make a difference, emphasizing the transformative power of education in shaping a better tomorrow.
