SEQT (Sociedad Española de Química Terapéutica) is a non-profit, multidisciplinary organization established in 1977. It aims to bring together professionals, companies, and institutions involved in pharmaceutical research and development in Spain. SEQT offers a range of events and activities to promote the development of pharmaceutical chemistry.

These include congresses, conferences, summer schools, and symposiums for young researchers. The organization also provides grants, scholarships, and awards to support the work of its members. One of the upcoming events is the VIII Summer School of SEQT, titled Medicinal Chemistry in Drug Discovery: the Pharma Perspective, which will take place in Santiago de Compostela from June 19th to 21st, 2023.

The awards will be presented at a special ceremony in Madrid on July 21st, 2023. Moreover, SEQT facilitates the publication of members' research through its collaboration with the journal Molecules. Members can enjoy a 15% discount on article publications.
