Sequoia Urnen

Sequoia Urnen creates sustainable fabric urns as a soft, personal alternative for saying goodbye. The German brand makes colourful decorative urn covers by hand in its own atelier, with each piece crafted as an individual item. Its designs include styles such as Antikrosé, Ginkgo, Herbstlicht, Morgennebel, Nachthimmel, Red Pink River and Zugvogel.

The urns are made from 100% biodegradable materials and are designed to fit around standard ash capsules, sitting closely against them. Integrated sturdy cords help lower the urn into a grave. Many models are approved for burial in FriedWald woodland cemeteries.

Sequoia Urnen uses certified fabrics, primarily organic cotton, linen, hemp and Tencel lyocell, along with organic cotton thread and lowering cords. Decorative buttons are handmade from locally sourced wood, natural pebbles or sea glass collected during shoreline clean-ups. The brand works with small, regional suppliers, considers sustainability throughout its sourcing and production, and ships its products with minimal packaging. Customers can contact Sequoia Urnen with product questions or to place orders as funeral professionals.
