Southeastern Center of Excellence in VBD

The Southeastern Center of Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases (SECVBD) is a collaborative initiative funded by the CDC, focusing on the prevention and control of vector-borne illnesses in the Southeastern United States and the Caribbean. Comprised of a multidisciplinary team, SECVBD works alongside key public health stakeholders, including prominent universities such as the University of South Carolina and the University of Florida, to develop innovative research programs and strategies to combat emerging diseases.
