About Serenas
Guggenmusik Serenas is a carnival music group based in Unterbäch, in the Swiss canton of Valais. The group celebrates Fasnacht through music, costumes, performances and annual themes that reflect local life and current events. Its website shares updates about past carnival seasons, including the group’s 45th anniversary in 2024, celebrated in a new costume and accompanied by 31 Altzünftler.
Earlier themes included “Selbstversorger” in 2023 and “Comeback” in 2022, when Fasnacht returned after pandemic-related disruption. The group also recalls its 2020 season and thanks the community, local businesses, supporters and volunteers who helped make its activities possible. Visitors can explore event information, an archive, songs, member details, photographs and a chronicle, as well as links and contact information.
Guggenmusik Serenas maintains a presence on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, giving followers ways to keep up with the group and its carnival activities. Its site presents a lively, community-rooted celebration of Fasnacht in Unterbäch
