Serenity Trail A Feline Sanctuary

Serenity Trail A Feline Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Norfolk, Virginia, dedicated to improving the lives of community cats. Its mission is to provide food, shelter, and medical care to feral and stray felines in a compassionate environment. The sanctuary also aims to remove cats from kill shelters and abusive or neglectful situations, giving them a safe place to recover and thrive.

Cats who are suitable for adoption may be placed in permanent homes, while those who are not adoptable can remain in Serenity Trail’s care. The organization’s support includes essential needs and services such as food, medication, trap-neuter-return (TNR), spaying and neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and other medical care. Serenity Trail also seeks to establish a physical facility so it can help more cats.

The sanctuary relies on donations and community support to fund its work. Supporters can contribute through PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, Amazon and Chewy wishlists, or Kroger Community Rewards, which directs a portion of eligible purchases to the nonprofit at no cost to shoppers.
