About Centro Studi Sereno Regis
Centro Studi Sereno Regis is a non-profit, independent, volunteering organization that was founded in 1982 by MIR-Movimento Internazionale della Riconciliazione and Movimento Nonviolento. The organization's mission is to spread the culture of peace and nonviolence, addressing all aspects of violence: direct, cultural, and structural. Centro Studi Sereno Regis focuses on three pillars: research, education, and nonviolent action.
Through research, they aim to demonstrate that nonviolence is possible and not just a utopia. With education, they strive to increase awareness and knowledge about nonviolence in society. Lastly, through nonviolent action, they work towards bringing about bottom-up societal changes.
The organization is involved in six sectors: alternatives to war, peace education, library, people power, environmental issues, and art and nonviolence. They offer various events and initiatives to engage the community and build a nonviolent world
