About Serion BBS
The Realm of Serion, or SerionBBS, is an online bulletin board system with a distinctive medieval atmosphere and a customized experience for its community. Visitors can connect using a BBS client through the site’s Telnet or SSH access, and creating an account requires only a username, password, and information about how they heard about the BBS. The site emphasizes that it does not ask for details such as a person’s name, birth date, location, or email address.
SerionBBS offers games and features centered on L.O.R.D. (Legend of the Red Dragon), including a long-running tournament with news, rules, and prizes. Members can also explore ANSI and RIP artwork, a RIP BBS area, L.O.R.D. information and tips, and the Nuklear LORD Wiki. A BBS ranking system gives players another way to measure their progress and compete for champion status. The site recommends clients including SyncTERM, Netrunner, and MuffinTerm, with options for different operating systems and devices. SerionBBS is run by sysops Booch, Kernel Panic, and Syntax Error.
