About Seriti Institute
Seriti Institute is a registered non-profit company (NPC) and public benefit organization that aims to make a positive impact on communities. Led by black women and governed by a distinguished board, Seriti Institute is dedicated to community development and social change. They operate as a Level 1 B-BBEE compliant social enterprise and reinvest surplus revenue from fees-for-service into community development initiatives.
The word Seriti means shadow in Setswana and symbolizes the contribution that each person can make to the lives of others and their community. Seriti Institute believes in the power of people and their capacity to drive change and improve society. Their programs cover a range of areas, including capacitating primary caregivers, supporting sustainable farming and agribusiness development, strengthening township economies, partnering with NGOs, and facilitating civil society discussions.
