Serrano Gallery is a contemporary fine art gallery located at Silver Street Studios in Houston’s Sawyer Yards/Washington Arts District. It presents abstract and figurative art by established and emerging artists from Houston, elsewhere in the United States, and internationally, with a particular focus on Latin American artists. The venue includes two galleries with distinct programs.
Serrano Gallery features a changing roster of local, national, and international artists, including resident and visiting artists. Oaxaca Serrano Gallery showcases work by four contemporary Mexican artists based in Oaxaca: Rolando Rojas, Didier Mayés, Ixrael Montes, and Saúl Castro. These artists are also printmakers and are presented as part of Mexico’s rich artistic legacy.
Visitors can explore exhibitions and artist information, and the gallery offers video tours of its spaces. Walk-ins are welcome on Saturdays from noon to 5 p. m.
Located at 2000 Edwards Street, Studio 317, Serrano Gallery provides Houston audiences with opportunities to discover contemporary art and engage with artists and perspectives from Latin America and beyond
