Founded in February 2021 during the pandemic, Servidrolocal was created to be a space where things happen. With a commitment to equality and community-building, Servidrolocal seeks to communicate and collaborate with the local neighborhood, forming alliances and support networks. Behind Servidrolocal are a group of individuals who collaborate, grow together, and engage in various roles such as curating, designing, organizing, and more. They experiment with each exhibition, constantly evolving and transforming their space to adapt to different projects and processes.

Servidrolocal is directed by Carla Hernández, an activist botanist, plant curator, and landscape agent, and María José Argumedo, a researcher, community process facilitator, and educator. Together, they strive to create a diverse and open space for individuals to explore art and cultural expressions.
