SERVIS LYŽÍ JIČÍN

Servis lyží Jičín provides express maintenance and repairs for alpine skis, cross-country skis, and snowboards of all types and brands. Customers can arrange collection and delivery at home, with timing agreed in advance, or bring their equipment to the workshop at U Javůrkovy louky 543 in Jičín. The service is associated with Hodinový cykloservis and can be contacted by phone or email to discuss appointments.

Work includes base grinding, damage repair, side-edge tuning, base-edge tuning, stone finishing, and waxing. The workshop uses a Montana stone-grinding system to create precise base structures, with settings adjusted for the equipment and service requirements. Damaged bases are cleaned and repaired with melted polyethylene before finishing. Edge angles are selected according to the equipment, the skier’s experience, and snow conditions, helping improve grip and handling. Regular servicing can support smoother gliding and greater confidence on hard or icy slopes. The business also recommends waxing new skis and checking bindings as part of responsible equipment care.
