Servizi Care Services provides 28-day respite and emergency placements in Liverpool for young people aged 11 to 17. The organisation aims to offer a safe, nurturing environment where each young person receives individualised support focused on personal growth, emotional wellbeing and positive social relationships. Its philosophy places the child’s welfare at the centre of care, treating placements as opportunities for development rather than simply containment.
The service supports physical and emotional wellbeing through access to healthcare, nutritious meals, appropriate clothing, recreational activities and emotional support. Skilled staff receive ongoing training in areas including de-escalation, conflict resolution, behavioural support and developmental trauma. Each young person has a staff key worker who builds a supportive relationship and helps shape and promote an individual support plan in collaboration with professionals.
Servizi also encourages young people to participate in decisions, develop confidence, form positive relationships and practise life skills that can help prepare them for leaving care. Additional support includes social development, outdoor activities, lifestyle guidance and personal development.
