**Brand Description: SESDIVA**
SESDIVA is an innovative project dedicated to the exploration and preservation of written culture among South and East Slavs from the 11th to the early 20th century. Coordinated by the Institute for Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, SESDIVA facilitates cultural dialogue and research collaboration among esteemed institutions from Bulgaria, Russia, and Belgium. The project aims to create a virtual museum showcasing a diverse array of manuscripts and printed books, illuminating the social, cultural, ideological, and religious interactions that shaped Slavic literatures.
With a comprehensive repository of over 180 articles and contributions from more than 30 authors, SESDIVA offers rich insights into the history of literary migration, centers of communication, and prominent figures in Slavic national awakening. Engaging virtual spaces within the museum highlight significant medieval written monuments and the evolution of texts and ideas across regions. SESDIVA stands as a vital resource for scholars and enthusiasts alike, fostering a deeper understanding of Slavic written heritage and its vast cultural tapestry.
