Setfighters

The Setfighters is a volleyball association based in Zaandam, serving players in the Zaanstreek. With approximately 50 members, the club offers a welcoming environment where enjoyment and community are central. Its aim is to make competitive volleyball available to anyone who wants to play, while also providing recreational options.

Members are organised into men’s and women’s teams, as well as a recreational group. Players can choose to train only, combine training with competition, or play recreationally. Prospective members are welcome to attend a no-obligation training session before joining. The club plays at two gym locations in Zaandam and uses Zaanlands West as its match venue.

The Setfighters also brings members and the wider community together through tournaments and events, including pub quizzes, seasonal tournaments, and charity activities. Its website provides information about teams, club rules, competition, sponsors, and membership, and features a webshop. Supporters can help the association at no extra cost by shopping through its SponsorKliks page, which earns the club a commission on purchases.
