Seunavaarat

Hautaustoimisto Seunavaara Oy is a family-owned funeral service company based in central Kouvola, Finland, and is described as the oldest funeral home in the Kouvola area. Its history dates to 1938, when it began under the name Jolkkonen. Ownership passed to Pirjo and Arvi Seunavaara in 1966, and the next generation, Pasi and Pepe Seunavaara, took over in 1991.

The company provides comprehensive funeral arrangements with respect for bereaved families and attention to their wishes. Its products and services include coffins and urns, funeral transport, funeral flowers, gravestones, catering, and estate inventory services. Seunavaara coordinates arrangements reliably, helping families access the services they need from one provider.

While many customers come from Kouvola and nearby communities such as Anjalankoski, Elimäki, Valkeala, and Kuusankoski, the company serves clients throughout Finland and also handles arrangements abroad. Seunavaara is a member of the Finnish Funeral Directors Association and offers assistance outside regular business hours by arrangement
