About SEUPB
SEUPB is a brand that aims to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland through the PEACEPLUS funding program. As a new European Union funding program, PEACEPLUS is designed to address longstanding social, environmental, and economic challenges in the community. The program has been developed through extensive research, review, and public engagement, including specific events with young people.
It is divided into six themes, each focusing on different investment areas to target organizations such as local authorities and community groups. The effectiveness and quality of the program are monitored by a Program Monitoring Committee (PMC), with the final funding decisions made by the Steering Committee. SEUPB also utilizes the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (Jems) to streamline and enhance the project lifecycle.
