Severn Orthotics is a specialist orthotics clinic serving Shropshire and surrounding areas. Led by Jana Middlebrook, an HCPC-registered orthotist with a BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics and MBAPO membership, the clinic provides assessment, prescription, fitting and ongoing management of orthoses for neurological and orthopaedic conditions. Care is tailored to each person, with treatment plans adjusted as needs change. Appointments are available at the clinic or, where appropriate, at home, and the practice works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, client-centred care.
Orthotic services include insoles, raises and footwear adaptations; ankle-foot, knee and knee-ankle-foot orthoses; upper-limb and spinal support; paediatric orthotics; and protective helmets. Specialist options include the C-Brace, Exopulse Suit, stance-control orthoses, Sensory Dynamic Orthosis, functional electrical stimulation and contracture management. These external devices are designed to support, align or improve body function, with the aim of helping people move more comfortably, improve stability, reduce pain and build independence. Severn Orthotics can be contacted by phone, WhatsApp or email.
