About SEZ
The Foundation for Development Cooperation Baden-Württemberg (SEZ) is a regional foundation that has promoted globally responsible action since 1991. Based in Stuttgart, it connects and supports private, municipal and regional initiatives working to strengthen partnerships and contribute to a fairer, more sustainable world. Through educational programs, events and exchange formats, SEZ helps people in Baden-Württemberg understand how local choices relate to global challenges and encourages dialogue across cultures and perspectives.
Its services include project funding through the bwirkt! program, which supports development-focused partnerships in Baden-Württemberg, internationally and in Burundi. SEZ also provides networking opportunities, information resources and platforms for collaboration. Its initiatives cover global learning, fair trade, sustainable fashion and consumption, and community engagement.
