Singlehanded Sailing Society (SSS) is a brand that provides a platform for sailors and enthusiasts interested in singlehanded sailing. With the aim of promoting fair and equitable competition, SSS allows sailors to compete in various types and designs of seaworthy sailing vessels. The society organizes eight regular annual races in and around San Francisco Bay, including renowned events such as the Singlehanded Farallones race and the Vallejo 1-2 race.
Additionally, SSS hosts the Singlehanded TransPacific Yacht Race and the Great Pacific Longitude Race in odd and even-numbered years, respectively. Alongside the races, SSS also sponsors lectures and seminars to promote safe shorthanded racing and cruising. By joining SSS, members can enjoy benefits such as free race entries and the opportunity to contribute to youth sailing foundations.
Whether you are a seasoned sailor or just starting out, SSS offers a vibrant community and exciting racing opportunities. Join SSS today through the Jibeset website and embark on an unforgettable sailing journey
