Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Kolping Metelen 1952 e.V.

SFZ Metelen, the Spielmanns- und Fanfarenzug Kolping Metelen 1952 e.V., is a community music association based in Metelen, Germany. Alongside its musical activities, the club offers training, performances, events and opportunities to join its ensemble. Its website highlights the annual youth holiday camp, a long-standing tradition held since 1977 in the Sauerland.

The camp brings together around 40 to 70 young participants and approximately 25 adult leaders, supported by a kitchen team, for 13 days of summer activities. Children and teenagers aged eight to 18 are welcome, including those who are not club members. The programme includes hiking, outdoor and adventure games, evening shows, sports and competitions, night walks, and an annual trip to an amusement park. Participants also elect a camp marksman king. Accommodation is in local community halls, and the camp takes place in a different Sauerland location in different years. SFZ Metelen presents the camp as a way to enjoy shared experiences, make connections and spend an active summer holiday.
