Schützengesellschaft 1667 Dingelstädt is a community sports and cultural association in Dingelstädt, in the Eichsfeld region, with a history dating back to 1667. The club brings together local tradition and modern shooting sport, welcoming newcomers to training and encouraging participation across generations.

Its sporting activities include rifle and pistol shooting, small-calibre shooting, and archery with recurve and compound bows, practised outdoors and in a hall. The youth programme offers training with air rifles and laser rifles. Members can train on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5 p.m.; archery sessions are arranged by agreement. Prospective members can ask about a trial session and do not need to bring their own equipment.

The club’s annual highlight is its Schützenfest, featuring a king’s shooting competition, a procession through Dingelstädt, and social events. It also organises and shares activities such as competitions, walks, and youth gatherings. Its website provides event information, club details, contact options, and an archive of nearly 400 photographs, including Schützenfest albums dating from 1994.
