Sonny G Academy (SGA) is an accredited private PreK–12 school and elite soccer club based in Austin, Texas. Founded by Sonny Guadarrama, the academy serves student-athletes from Austin and surrounding communities, combining an accredited academic curriculum with intensive soccer development in a values-based environment. Its educational program emphasizes liberal arts and sciences, critical thinking, communication, and a lasting love of learning; students in grades 1–8 use the Savvas curriculum.

The school day pairs classroom learning with soccer training, including skills work, strength, speed, and agility sessions led by professional coaches. SGA also offers year-round soccer coaching, clinics during school breaks, camps, talent identification sessions, summer futsal, soccer-abroad experiences, and access to a professional network and real-world perspectives on the sport. Its programs focus on long-term development, teamwork, discipline, compassion, and a growth mindset.

SGA presents academics and athletics as complementary parts of a student’s education, aiming to prepare young people for achievement on and off the field. The academy also provides admissions support and campus tours for prospective families
