SGCCC Sistema Guatemalteco de Ciencias del Cambio Climático is the leading authority in Guatemala when it comes to climate change. As an organization, SGCCC aims to generate and review scientific information regarding climate change and provide this information to policymakers and decision-makers. They focus on three key areas: Climate Science, Adaptation and Vulnerability, and Mitigation and GHG Inventories.

With a team comprised of various institutions and experts, SGCCC offers a wide range of products and services. These include educational materials, relevant technical and scientific documents, national and political publications, as well as newsletters. They also produce the Annual Climate Change Report for Guatemala.

Additionally, SGCCC organizes national congresses on important topics like water resources and climate change, providing a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing. Registered users have access to exclusive content and can participate in the various working groups and discussions. SGCCC, currently overseen by the Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology, and Hydrology (INSIVUMEH), plays a crucial role in driving sustainable actions towards combating climate change in Guatemala.
