Social Development and Solidarity Association (SGDD-ASAM) is a Turkish civil society organization providing assistance to people in need without discrimination based on language, religion, gender, race or political opinion. With more than 30 years of experience, it works across Türkiye through a network of offices and also maintains representations in Athens and Brussels. Its mission is to strengthen lives, nurture hope and support access to fundamental rights and services, including protection, healthcare and education.

SGDD-ASAM delivers projects focused on protection, education, health, livelihoods and social cohesion, seeking to improve people’s living conditions. Following the February 6 earthquakes, it continues its work in the affected region, including from an active site in Hatay. The association also offers business development advice and non-repayable grants to earthquake-affected micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Adana and Hatay. Through MigrantTV, it shares news, announcements and practical information with asylum seekers and refugees in seven languages. Its Migration Academy connects theory and practice, supporting graduate and doctoral students through scholarships.
